Using Textmate as you svn editor
When running the check in command for svn you have to supply the -m attribute and a string for the comment.
If you want to use your favourite editor, you must set an environment variable: SVN_EDITOR
If you are on mac and want to use TextMate, use the wait attribute.
eg. export SVN_EDITOR=’mate -w’
